Pastor- Randy Germann
In 1971, Randy Germann received his B.S. in Education with English and Duel Minor’s in History and Physical Education from Ball State University, Indiana. He went on to receive his Master in Education with College Administration and Student Personnel from Indiana University in 1972. In 1972, he was the Director of Housing and Student Activities for Mackinac College, Indiana up until they closed in 1973. He then found his way to Taylor University, Indiana where he became the Associate Dean of Admissions and Acting Dean of Admissions until 1981.
In 1983, Randy then completed another Master’s program in Religious Education with Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Texas. He was ordained to ministry May 1983 by The First Baptist Church, Texas. After being ordained, Randy became part of the staff at Calvary Baptist Church in Mississippi where he was the oversight person for family enrichment programs, special education and Wednesday night programs. In 1984, he was then hired to work for Indiana Baptist Convention where he held family and marriage enrichment seminars throughout Indiana. In 1986, Randy started working with Missouri Baptist Convention in Jefferson City providing people with counseling for families, single parents, adolescents, marriage relationships, anger management, and many different types of counseling for 2000 Baptist Churches in Missouri. He has worked for Little Bonne Femme Baptist Church, Habitat for Humanity International, River City Habitat for Humanity, and University of Missouri-Columbia in the Animal Science Department.
Youth Leader - Pam Smith
Pam Smith graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. For eight years she worked at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. After moving to Columbia, she worked at Boone Hospital Center in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. The last eighteen years she has worked in the Pediatrics Department at the University Of Missouri Hospital.
In the fall of 2006, she became a member of Lighthouse Community Church and in September 2008 she started working with the youth and teaching the teen class. She enjoys working with the youth and incorporating family and youth activities. When growing up, she was greatly influenced by her family and particularly by her Grandfather who was a minister for sixty years.
